On Screen

Introduction

Somewhere along the way, long before work, responsibilities, and everything else that comes with life, I found myself stepping into a very different world—the world of film and television.

It started small, as these things often do. Background roles, brief appearances, and early on-set experiences in productions like The Citadel, where I shared screen time with Ben Cross and Niall Buggy, along with appearances in Pobol Y Cwm and Y Taniwr. Small parts, but real ones—learning the rhythm of a working set and seeing how it all comes together from the inside.

Then came The District Nurse, where things stepped up. A full character role across two episodes, with proper screen time and the opportunity to act alongside Nerys Hughes and Meredith Edwards. It wasn’t just about being present anymore—it was about delivering, holding a scene, and playing a meaningful part in the story.

And then, Queen’s Sacrifice—a short film, but a defining moment. A lead role, working opposite Richard Davies and Lisa Climey, carrying the weight of the narrative rather than simply passing through it. A different level entirely, and one that proved what was possible.

It was never a path I chose to fully pursue, but it remains a chapter that left its mark. A glimpse into a world that’s as demanding as it is rewarding, and one that gave me experiences I’ll always carry with me.

A different life, for a while… but a real one.
